The second season of “Shadowhunters” returns with the Shadow world in upheaval as Valentine and The Circle continue to grow stronger by the minute and our Shadowhunter team quickly becoming disillusioned with The Clave and their reaction to the recent events. Loyalties will be tested, unlikely bonds will be made and relationships will be pushed to the limit as the Shadowhunters and their Downworlder friends are making their own way in a new world. The new season of “Shadowhunters” is set to premiere in January 2017 on Freeform.
The panel will include exclusive footage of the new season and a Q&A with executive producers, McG, Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer, and cast. The panel will be moderated by TVLine senior editor Andy Swift. Panel attendees will receive exclusive show-branded t-shirts featuring their favorite couples from the series.
An age-old pact between young friends on the cusp of adulthood – of the “If we’re both single by the time we turn 30, let’s get married to each other” variety – turns all too real for two millennials in “Single By 30,” an eight-episode rom-com by Wong Fu Productions.
Harry Shum Jr. plays Peter, the leading man, as he navigates the Los Angeles dating scene and as he rekindles his friendship with Kina Grannis’ Joanna, who as the series begins is back in town and in the midst of her own quarter-life crisis. The pair lead a cast of YouTube stars that includes Eric Ochoa and Anna Akana, fitting choices given the show’s home on YouTube Red, and its status as one of the video giant’s first experiments in original content creation on par with Netflix, Amazon or Hulu.
“It’s been great to hear how people are really relating to this story, or even talking about how they’ve also made pacts themselves in high school and are reliving it through the series,” Shum, who is currently filming for another series, “Shadowhunters,” in Toronto, said. As it turns out, the actor sees a lot of himself in Peter, in both background and in life perspective.
“[Like Peter] I also had that idea of, you have to be married at a certain age and the pressures of finding a girlfriend and thinking about when you’re going to have babies for your parents,” Shum said. “What I really relate to Peter is, he has this idea that he needs to get over, of what his life should be as opposed to what his life could be. That was a revelation for me when I realized that I live for myself in my own life.”
Survival starts in the core, and today Microsoft Studios unveiled a new look into ReCore’s adventure-filled world, Far Eden, and its heroine, Joule Adams. Narrated by Joule’s father, Dr. Thomas Adams, the video takes a deeper look at Joule’s journey, revealing new gameplay and characters from ReCore’s cinematic story as well as the qualities Joule inherited from her father; qualities that will help her and her Corebot companions to bring new life and hope to Far Eden.
In addition to these new insights into ReCore’s gameplay and story, we’re also excited to reveal some of the actors helping bring ReCore to life: Joule (Erika Soto, Halo Wars 2), Dr. Adams (Connor Trinneer, Stargate: Atlantis and Star Trek: Enterprise), and the mysterious Kai Brehn, who makes his first appearance in today’s trailer (Harry Shum Jr., Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments and Glee).
In this installment, the daughter of a Hong Kong tech executive goes missing in what appears to be a routine ransom job. As Breslin (Stallone) and his crew delve deeper, they discover the culprit is the deranged son of one of their former foes, who also kidnapped Breslin’s love and is holding her inside the massive prison known as Devil’s Station. Shum Jr. will play Bao, who joins Breslin’s team on the rescue mission.
The film follows a lonely, unstable gas station attendant Melinda, tired of being overshadowed by her more confident, outgoing co-worker Sheila (Waterhouse). When the gas station is held at gunpoint by Billy, a desperate man in need of quick cash, Melinda finds an opportunity to make a connection with the robber, regardless of who gets hurt.
The drama follows two sets of adult siblings from wildly different worlds who discover they are related and must reassess everything they thought they knew about their shared father. As they explore the mysteries of their separate childhoods, they'll experience the difficulty in overcoming the sins of the past and learn the joys of reuniting with long-lost family.
The bittersweet story centers on a young couple as they plan their wedding in the face of devastating news. The couple, who had been planning their Toronto wedding since April 2014, found out that Chau had liver cancer in December of that year. To make sure they got the wedding of their dreams, they moved the date up to April 11, 2015, and they raised more than $52,000 through a GoFundMe account. They were married for four months before he died.
Shum Jr. will play a video archivist who comes across a surreal and disturbing clip of what appears to be an imprisoned android. He believes it’s the product of broadcast signal hacking, but his discovery takes a sinister turn when he tracks down similar broadcast intrusions.
