Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, a migratory museum that shares Asian Pacific American (APA) history, art and culture through innovative community-focused experiences, announced its inaugural annual event, The Party. Featuring special performances by hip-hop and R&B phenom Jay Park and iconic jazz band Hiroshima, The Party takes place May 18, 2019, in Los Angeles. Bad news: the cult favorite supernatural series Shadowhunters is coming to an end after three seasons. Good news: they are going out with a bang. Freeform announced today that they have set a two and a half hour series finale on May 6 at 8 pm EDT/PDT.
The announcement was made ahead of Wednesday’s Freeform summit and fans will definitely be able to say their bittersweet goodbyes to the GLAAD Media Award-winning series that followed the adventures of half-angel, half-human demon hunters and their downworld allies.

Clary and Jace come up with a risky plan to get rid of her twinning rune, which may bring an old enemy back into the fray. Meanwhile, Alec is worried about Magnus.

Simon and Izzy team up on a secret mission to figure out what the Clave is hiding. Meanwhile, Clary is conflicted about Jonathan as the Shadowhunters try to get answers.

A demon outbreak in New York City on Halloween becomes a top priority at the Institute, but as the Shadowhunters hunt the demons, Jace becomes more worried about Clary. Meanwhile, Alec has to juggle the outbreak with his deep concern about Magnus’ depression.

The Crazy Rich Asians and Shadowhunters star and How to Get Away With Murder grad will feature in Heart of Life, an ABC pilot inspired by the John Mayer song of the same name.
The drama follows two sets of adult siblings from wildly different worlds who discover they are related and must reassess everything they thought they knew about their shared father. As they explore the mysteries of their separate childhoods, they’ll experience the difficulty in overcoming the sins of the past and learn the joys of reuniting with long-lost family.
Shum and Findlay will play siblings Brendan and Sydney Winter. Sydney is described as ambitious, caring and awkward and a type-A personality who takes over her father’s architecture firm. Brendan is a self-centered world traveler who is good at getting by on his father’s money and is often the voice of reason.

Later today the 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards are going to happen. As you know Harry, together with Yvonne Strahovski, will also be walking the red carpet and they’ll exclusively reveal the honorees for Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles during the pre-show. The pre-show will be available to stream on ew.com, tntdrama.com/sag-awards, sagawards.org, and PEOPLE.com, in addition to being broadcast live in Times Square.
The PEOPLE, Entertainment Weekly & TNT Red Carpet Live: 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards live stream will start at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Jan. 27.
